  • Healthcare professionals crave career progression - Lack of career development is the largest source of dissatisfaction in the pharma sector
  • On the move - 63% of healthcare industry workers are actively looking for a new job, with another 28% happy to move if offered the right position
  • High Turnover - A third of respondents have been with their employer for less than two years, with three in ten there for less than a year
  • Survival of the fittest - Confidence in the industry’s ability to weather the recession varies by sector with marketing staff the most confident whilst those working in sales and manufacturing display the highest levels of concern
  • Mixed bag - 28% of respondents’ companies are currently taking on new staff whilst 47% have frozen recruitment. 41% aren’t looking to make redundancies whilst 32% are expecting job losses
