JOB SUMMARY

Excellent opportunity for a GMC registered medic with speciality training in clinical transplantation, nephrology or hepatology to step up to a European role to support products in the Transplantation area.

The company has a robust and promising project pipeline, which contains around 19 projects in phase III or pending approval globally, with several projects in early-phase development.

PRIMARY DUTIES

To provide medical and scientific input to the therapeutic European Therapeutic Area Brand Team, to optimise commercial objectives for the assigned products and therapy area.
Work closely with other Pharma EU departments and EU affiliates.

Provide medical input to commercial activities for the therapeutic area franchise including the planning, preparation and approval of
o strategic business plans
o internal and external scientific product presentations
o publication plan development and implementation
o external meetings, advisory boards and symposia
o promotional and scientific materials

Co-ordinate Medical Information activities for the area.

Support the Director in the development, conduct and reporting of Phase IIIb and IV clinical trials so that the trial therapeutic area study programme can be accomplished expeditiously and effectively.

Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with external key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, government authorities, and funding bodies

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Medical Qualification and full GMC registration. Ideally with Industry expertise, doctors and surgeons within the Clinical Transplantation area (in surgery, nephrology or hepatology) at least to Registrar level looking to move into industry may be considered.
