Medical Writing & Publication Manager - Herts
£39,000 pro rata| Hertfordshire, South East England| Contract/Temp
The main purpose of the role will be to:
-Be responsible for the management and cultivation of a high-performance working environment that promotes excellent standards in written communications.
-Contribute to the effective and safe use of company products and achievement of business objectives through the delivery of high quality medical writing and publications.
-Be able to operate on a strategic and tactical level, proactively develop and manage publication plans in accordance with product lifecycles and communicate in a timely, informative manner amongst scientific and medical communities.
Further responsibilities will include:
-To lead a team of writers and define clear objectives in line with wider business ambitions and customer needs whilst fostering consistency in compliance, accuracy, clarity and style.
-To strive to continually improve and simplify the processes and policies already in place and take personal responsibility for ethical standards amongst the team.
In order to be considered for this role, you will be required to have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
-Educated to degree level or above in life science or a related field.
-Must have experience of medical writing within a Pharmaceutical or Biotech setting, either in house or agency.
-Must have experience of working with customers and cross functional teams to achieve successful business outcomes as well as the competence to lead and inspire your own team.
-Should have experience in the interpretation and presentation of scientific data, with an understanding of the legal and regulatory obligations that apply to medical publications.
