Key Account Manager - Cell Biology - South East Germany & Austria

Mackenzie Stuart is currently representing a global biotechnology SME that develops and manufactures cell imaging and analysis capital equipment and consumables for their use in Academic and Industrial Research. The US based Life Science company is undergoing a period of rapid growth and is looking for a high quality professional to join the organization as the Key Account Manager for South East Germany & Austria. The successful candidate will be responsible for representing the product portfolio to customers throughout the territory.

Responsibilities Include:

*Effectively manage all sales opportunities including key accounts and generate and follow new leads to drive sales.
*Network with KOL's building relationships with key decision makers and customers.
*Meet corporate objectives including developing sales strategies and market intelligence to identify new areas of growth.
*Develop high-value, long-term profitable customer accounts through effective negotiation and relationship building sales techniques.
*Maintain an understanding of the Cell Biology market including products and services, prospects, forecasting and competition.
*Prepare and present original customer sales presentations, assisting with all sales activities in order to develop manage and expand the customer base in the assigned territory.

Requirements:

*>3 years sales experience in an account management role within the Life Science Industry, preferably with knowledge of Cell Biology products and equipment.
*Degree educated or equivalent within Life Sciences, preferably within Cell or Molecular Biology.
*Experienced sales professional with excellent communication, planning, organizational, problem solving and analytical skills.
*Results oriented individual with proven experience of achieving sales targets.
